The Barney Bed is great. I wanted a quality bed for my dachshunds and they love the Barney bed. I got the waterproofing as it is easier to wash one bed cover rather than the whole bedding. Excited to get more trendy bed covers.

I was originally hesitant to purchase due to the price but was sick of buying cheap beds that were not supportive for my 50kg rottie. We purchase the L bed and a spare cover (fitted sheet style one). Our boy loves it, it is so supportive no sagging, easy to clean as both covers can be washed so he is never without a bed. 10/10 recommend to everyone wanting a good supportive bed

My Australian labradoodle Lulu just loves lounging in her Barney Bed with its chic linen cover, and it’s always her go-to bed at night. If I peep in on her in the spare room she’s either relaxing on her back (with legs apart!) or has her head up resting on the sides - noticed she is now sleeping-in much later these days - it’s obviously so snuggly and comfortable! Beautifully Australian designed and made beds with many optional fitted covers - we have ordered 2 beds and covers from NZ - excellent service arrived within a few days of ordering. Highly recommend Barney Beds for superior; ingenuity, materials, style, chin rests, and supreme comfort - nothing comparable on the market in my view.

I will never purchase another dog bed again. I've been a barney bed customer for about 4 years now and the quality is 10 out of 10. Easy to clean vacuum and wash. Perfect comfort especially for dogs with arthritis and being that it's easy to clean it helps dogs who have allergies. Amazing covers to suit your decor. The bed is strong and long lasting, the cover washes easily and comes up like new. Many sizes to accommodate for 1 to 5 dogs. Ive owned 3 sizes and my dogs love them all. Xl is awesome for many dogs and you can even lay with them its so comfortable too. You will NOT regret purchasing the barney bed for your fur baby. I purchased the extra large 4 years ago and 2 more last year. I no longer needed the xl as two of my dogs passed away so gave to my friend with 5 dogs as the bed was in like new condition still. I then purchased a medium and large for my puppy and my other older dog

The Barney Bed has been perfect. My dog chewed up so many beds because they were flimsy - but he loves this bed, happily goes to it, and its weight and form means he can't destroy it. It might be pricey but when I saw one at a friends place, I knew it was the answer to my problems! Looks great, easy to clean. Highly recommended.

The best dog bed i have ever purchased. My old girl is almost 12 with arthritis and this has been the best thing we have got her. She can get in and out easy and loves the raised sides to rest her head. I love the cover options, happy to have the bed in any room.

We bought two Barney Beds + two Boucle Covers for our dogs and they LOVE them. They’re easy to clean, easy to set up and super comfy for the dogs. One of them tries to steal BOTH beds, because she’s not happy with only one… she must lie alternatively in both. Highly recommended!

We have 70kg Great Danes, of whom we have always struggled to find long lasting beds that don’t sag. We went through so many beds — and not from chewing or destroying as our dogs luckily don’t do that, but from their weight. There really is no bed even close to being comparable on the market. Not to mention any that look as good! The designs, interchangeable covers, washable element, quality and lifetime guarantee are totally unbeatable. We’ve had ours for a while now and it has 0 defects!! Our only regret is not getting it sooner. Absolutely worth every Penny!!

I absolutely love the Barney bed it’s by far the best bed I’ve come across. My pooches love it also. I have a dog with special needs and needs a good support bed. I’ve brought so many beds over the years and because my dog is heavy she ends up basically on the ground. But with the Barney bed it has held its shape and it’s exactly the same as the day I purchased it a few years ago. By now I would have had to throw it out and replace it. It’s also fully washable so any accidents can be washed up easily. Because let’s face it no one wants a stinky dog bed in their house all the time. It’s also really good because my dogs back is supported and she loved the head rest. She can snuggle up to it or lay flat. I’ve even laid in there with her comfortably. Would definitely recommend the Barney bed :)

A friend told me about how much her old, arthritic Golden Retriever likes sleeping in his Barney Bed at night, so I bought one. It is definitely worth the investment. The quality of this dog bed is the best I’ve come across and the cost, which high, is worth it, because I can tell my dog will have it for ages. I recommend also getting the waterproof covers and the easy slip-on covers which are really easy to take on and off for regular washing.

Excellent company and a superior product for my much loved hound. I purchased the Barney Bed for my senior rescue dog 18 months ago and I honestly didn't know if he would be receptive to the change as he was so anxious about everything. He didn't want to use his old bed after using his Barney Bed and I easily removed his old tired bed that offered minimal support. Not only does the Barney Bed provide a comfortable sleep but it has provided a safe space for him due to the design.

Really great mattress support for my older dogs. They get out of bed in the morning with less creaks and limps than before. Waterproof lining was a great add on purchase for old dogs with continence issues.

Unreal quality and style. Yes the Barney Beds are expensive but I truly believe you get the quality you pay for with this brand. My Golden Retriever loves his bed, my partner even fell asleep on it one night… proves the quality and comfort

My dog Oscar just loves this bed - bought for him when at nine months old both back legs went on him due to luxating patella - the orthopaedic mattress is comfy and supportive for him - I have only had one op done on one leg as that was all I could afford - no pet insurance / I am saving for second op - so he spends a lot of his time in his bed watching the world go by and sleeping peacefully - I feel confident he is comfortable and happy in his bed / I love it’s Australia made and customer service great

We bought this amazing bed for our ageing Springer Spaniel who has severe spinal issues on the recommendation from a Physio. It has been the best decision to purchase this bed. Our beautiful girl looks so comfortable and the design makes it easy for her to get in and out of.

My two dogs adore their beds. They are durable and comfortable and cosy. The only thing I would say is that we sized down from the recommended sizes in the guide on the website, and even so I sort of wish we'd gone another size down! The website recommended the XXL for my bull mastiff cross; we got him the XL and he still tries to steal the L from our smaller dog. Despite that though, the dogs absolutely love their beds and I'm glad we invested the money. Edit: I got the beds mentioned above for my mum's dogs (they now have two each because they love them), but now have a dog of my own and he has one too. He's a cavalier (but a little on the larger size for a cav) and I went with the medium, which is the perfect size for him. He has a couple of different covers but hands down his favourite is the Barneycles towel cover. He is obsessed with it. Highly recommend, it's great for when he's had a bath and isn't quite dry yet, but also the texture just gives him a bit of extra comfort. I went with the bright pink and if there were more bright colours available I'd buy them too.

My senior girl (cocker spaniel X poodle) would throw a hissy fit when it was bedtime and would wake up sore from arthritis in the morning and but now she willingly goes to her basket and her quality of life is much better she can go up stairs now and is not lethargic

Barney bed is incredible!! It’s more comfortable than my own bed and my dog absolutely loves it!! When friends bring their dogs over she immediately runs them to her bed to lay there together. Labradors spend their time on their beds if nothing else going on! our two have had a variety of beds, one famous bed did not last a year.I splashed out a year ago on an XL bed and they LOVE it. so do I when I sit down to give them a cuddle last thing. it keeps draughts off with the raised edges and they love resting their heads on it.

Very happy with our XXL Barney Bed. Our Irish Wolfhounds need a bed with great support for their big bodies and long legs. The XXL easily fits two 15 month old hounds. The oldest lady (7 years and 65KG) can comfortably stretch out on Barney, with room to spare! Our first Henry Hottie bed is still a favourite and doing well structurally, after 7 years of multiple hounds doing their best to destroy it!!

I brought the medium size Barney Bed for my Staffy two years ago. The best bed. So comfy for my fur baby. I have so many people ask me where I brought the beautiful bed. My kids lay in there with my girl and say it is so comfortable and soft. If your thinking about buying one for your fur baby do it you won’t be disappointed. Money well spent.

We’ve just received our Barney bed and hands down the best quality bed we’ve ever seen for our growing pup (we went with a L for when he’s fully grown) He was asleep in it within seconds - hopefully that means we’re going to get out bed back to ourselves overnight! The cooling cover feels amazingggggg and is going to be a total lifesaver over the Aussie summer! It didn’t look nice having that pile on the floor and I felt awful my furr baby didn’t have a proper bed to curl up on and, Until I saw my friends 2 English Staffies play and scratch on their Barney bed leaving no damage at all! I knew I had to try one more bed.The Barney Bed! third and FINAL bed… Quality made, stylish, durable AND Australian! It was a no brainer. My husband has said its cozier than our own bed. I guess sending him to ‘the dog house’ won’t be much of a punishment any more :P

I can’t recommend Barney Bed highly enough. I can see how much more comfort is provided to my dogs by these beds, my only regret is not buying them sooner. The covers wash clean as new. I had a slight problem with shipping that was rectified immediately after I contacted customer service so I really couldn’t be happier with the service and the product. Thanks Barney Bed!

We absolutely love the BarneyBed for our English bulldog, Melo. Melo loves his new bed, and we are in heaven because finally we can get a good nights rest while our little monster snores the night away. It’s super comfy, and easy to wash and to reassemble. The different cover options are everything!! Most important they match our home decor-always a plus!! Best bed ever purchased!! What a waist of thousand of dollars on other beds that don’t come near the quality, comfort and ease of the BarneyBed. We love it so much we are ordering a second one for other room. Barney Bed is without a doubt best bed ever! Have had it over a year now and looks like new! My 4 year old Labrador Lily loves it! Anyone who has a lab knows the amount of fur they shed daily! The fabric on this bed is an absolute breeze to vacuum with the upholstery attachment on my vacuum. Washes beautifully. Believe every 5 star review you read. I accidentally knocked over a can of coke onto the bed, they do tell you the fabric is water resistant, not water proof and I don’t have the water proof kit yet. I quickly flipped the bed over for the liquid to fall out, stripped the cover and not a drop had gone through to the memory foam. Washed up spotlessly! Now having reviewed the bed, I simply have to review the Barney blanket. Most amazing blanket ever! How can a blanket be amazing you ask? Whilst there is no mention of this anywhere on Barney bed website, I swear this blanket repels fur!! That’s what makes it amazing to me! Every other blanket I have bought, would take me 15mins to vacuum all the fur off before I could put it in the washing machine, and still always some fur embedded in the fabric. I shook out the blanket today and some fur fell off onto the tiles, then went to vacuum it, but there was no fur on it! Unbelievable with the amount of fur our dog sheds, even straight after a thorough brushing. Lily is a black lab and blanket is charcoal grey, I would be curious if anyone with a yellow lab can see any fur stuck to it. Our dog fell in love with this blanket within minutes, she loves being tucked up under this blanket. It is so plush! She is an average size lab, and I bought the medium size for her which is perfect, a large might suit some bigger labs. Pricey for a blanket, but worth every cent. Too bad they don't make clothes for humans out of this fabric. Cannot recommend enough!

Our dog destroyed his first bed within a few nights; his Barney bed is a lot more robust and he is sleeping on it very happily. We got an XL which has proved to be a bit big for him, although when he stretches out fully it fits him much better!! That was our call to stick with the XL; the Barney team did double-check with us! Great service and fast delivery; would definitely recommend this bed for any dog owner. Worth the $$ for sure.

The best dog bed ever. After so many years of wasting money on very expensive beds that ended up in the bin, finally I found the perfect one. The covers are very easy to change, wash and the get dry very quickly even during winter months, no need to use the dryer, the next day they are already dry or even in the evening if I do the washing in the morning. No dirty or smelly bed anymore. And most importantly my dog Lucas loves it so much, he seem to sleep very comfortable 😌 he got used to his new bed actually very quickly, it did not take to long after he realised the Barney bed is the most comfortable of all. Thank you Barney Bed 😀

My Barney Bed arrived quickly after purchase. Easy to set up and looks great. Really liked the fact that after hitting the purchase button an email was received regarding checking size and seeking assistance. Great service for those unsure about size. My puppy loves his new Barney Bed and will grow into it nicely. Although he is having to share it with my daughters dog who also loves the new Barney Bed. Great service and great product.

a great way to to select a bed for our Great Dane, ordering was easy and bed turned up (nowhere near a major city) in only 2 days. Hardest part was actually choosing the bed. Also a huge bonus being able to purchase covers etc and the video for changing covers was a great idea, especially for a huge bed as we purchased.

Our two 14yo boys love these beds. One has cancer & Arthritis so support & comfort is very important, definitely has helped his back. Great service as well.

Great products - using a large bed with a 4yo lab. The standard covers are washable/swappable, and the added option of waterproof foam covers so that you don't have to worry about accidentally soiled cushion filling/foam under the cover is great (a big problem with other bed designs where an accident that seeped through the top cover might make it very difficult to clean). The new basics cover range are also handy (basically a thicker fitted sheet) so that for regular maintenance, E.g. doggy dirt/hair, you don't have to remove the foam inserts for a full cover swap. Their products are on the expensive side, but much better value during sales (E.g the most recent winter sale 30% off for 3x products in one transaction). YMMV, but it seems worth it from the POV of convenience for regular cleaning and mess proofing in the event of unexpected soiling!

Love the Barney bed, have the x large with 3 dogs and all fit on perfectly. Easy to clean and put back together, great customer service. Cannot complain.

I purchased a large Barney Bed for my standard poodle which he loves. I needed something big enough for him to spread out on as well as I wanted it to fit in a spot under a bench in the house so it was a little tucked away for him. The bed has exceeded my expectations in regards to quality and comfort - definitely recommend :)

We have three dogs and three Barney beds! I’ve just ordered a new big bed for them all to share in our bedroom! This is a fantastic product. We’ve had the existing beds for two years now and they are still as good as new. The covers are really easy to wash and they dry quickly too! As dirty as they get with our naughty, dirty dogs, they wash up beautifully and are easy to get back on the beds. Our big labradors love to rest their heads on the edge of the bed, and our oldest boy has arthritis and only really gets comfortable now when he is on his Barney Bed. You’ve created a fantastic product that is worth the cost and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend that every beloved dog needs a Barney Bed!

These beds are amazing. The first dog beds I have bought that my dogs prefer over the couch. So easy to clean and hold their shape no matter what you put them through. So many beautiful cover options so you can switch out the look or change for the season.

Barney Bed is well-worth the price. I have had to throw out so many old dog beds :( But Barney Bed is my dog Bella's forever bed! They have literally thought of everything! It's so easy to wash, you can make it waterproof with their waterproof lining kit and its gorgeous!! Also, I have a big dog and I know this bed will support her joints as she ages. Recommend the Barney Bed? Yes. Cooling cover? Absolutely not - do not do it! The pilling of the fabric is terrible, looks old and worn after a month. Enormous waste of money. Really disappointed.

Great bed and wonderful seller. My rough collie loves her new bed - she is shy about new things, but she took to it immediately. Most amazing beds! My dogs absolutely love theirs. Only thing I will say is DO NOT GET THE BOUCLE COVER IF YOUR DOG SHEDS. I wish I looked into the cover a little more before purchasing. I knew the hair would be an issue but I didn’t realise that along with the hair getting stuck in the fabric, so did the smell of dog. I am very particular about dog smell and I found myself having to wash the covers 2 times before using them again. I’m disappointed because the Boucle cover is so stunning. It would be absolutely fine for non shedding dogs! If I ever have a poodle mix I will certainly be going with the Boucle cover. The bed itself is incredibly well made. I have a dog with mobility issues and this is the only bed that doesn’t seem to cause him pain when he needs to get up.

I have wanted to get the Barney bed for a while now and finally bought it. I was worried that it may be too hard or that the size would be wrong but not at all. Turns out the bed is super comfy. Soft but firm at the same time. I love the feel of it as much as my dog. We bought the medium size for my cavadoodle who is kelpie size (~20kg) and it is perfect. My dog likes to curl up and use the frame to rest his head but he also feels snugly if he needs to feel more secure. Customer service was very helpful and friendly, thank you Amanda for helping us with sizes and other questions we may have had. Quickly adopted by my pooch and us. Recently bought a medium Barney bed and the teddy cover for our 2 yr old frenchie. Took him a while to realise the bed was his 🤣 but once he knew it was, he loves sleeping in it everyday while we’re at work. I’m convinced he’s getting a better quality sleep, he doesn’t move from it all day. Previous cheaper beds we had bought for him he either wouldn’t sleep in or move from after half an hour. No other beds have even come close to the quality and well worth the investment. Don’t waste your money, get a Barney!

I’ve purchased many dog beds trying to find one with good support, I finally found the best when I got this Barney bed! The support is incredible, I could sleep on it! I was skeptical spending a lot of money again (I bought a yeti trailhead bed as well which was $449 and the foam pad is terrible it’s thin, flat and useless which was surprising because the brand makes great drinkware and coolers). But I was relieved when I received the Barney Bed, I highly recommend it to every dog owner if you’re worried it will be flat and unsupportive don’t be it’s really thick and great quality foam padding. Looking forward to seeing more cover options in the future too. I have a size large for border collie / aus shepherd size dog, two dogs can squeeze on the large though I think I’ll be getting a second now I know the bed is amazing.

Purchased 2 large Barney Beds in February 2021 and 1 Epic XXL Barney Bed in May 2021 (they did double check I wanted such a large bed but was for both dogs to share in the lounge room). At the time one dog was having anal glands issues (since had removed and over all she feels much better) so we purchased 2 sets of waterproofing covering for each bed and a spare cover for each bed. 1. the beds are so comfortable. Our dogs are 9 now and they are very supportive on their joints. After dinner some nights one dog will take herself to bed as that is where she is most comfortable. Our dog hydro therapist suggested the brand when we started taking one dog (now both go) as she was getting a bit 'ploddy' 2. Covers are well made and very thick. But it was peace of mind to have the water proof covers on as I didn't want stinky memory foam. Plus as they get older you never know if they will have any accidents. When moving house recently we didn't have any furniture in yet so sometimes I would lay on the Epic Barney for a rest with the dogs which was most comfortable (except when one dog would lay partially on me, not Barney Beds fault 🤣). We have this bed in our lounge room is front of the large front window. One dog will sun herself in the afternoon on it. The covers can be difficult to change. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so sometimes I have to get help. The covers are snug but that's a good thing as the memory foam stays in place. Plus the Epic Barney is just HUGE so I just have to pick and choose when I change the covers. But the covers are easy to wash and dry. They do have fancy covers and colours in the range however we have the normal covers that come with the beds (plus spares). The beds are a big investment but will last for a very long time plus very comfortable and supportive for your dog. I would not buy these beds if your dogs chews or destroys beds as that would be a waste money. A fantastic product.......I write this review as both dogs are in their beds beside each side of our bed snoring away ❤

Our little pup loves his Barney Bed! I he’s in a very destructive phase at the moment and wants to chew and scratch at anything and everything. I was worried he’d want to ravage the bed, but he must appreciate how comfy it is because he prefers it over being up on the couch!

My pup loves her barney bed, from day one I think she knows it's comfy, she always brings her toys and chew treats there. We bought the large one but she's still a puppy, so we can sit together there with her and we even find it comfy 😆

I purchased the XL barney bed for my German Shepherd, she's always had bad hips and back legs and I was looking for a quality bed. Just under a year later and it's the same as it was new, it's the best bed I've ever purchased, I only wish I found it sooner. She does like to share her bed with my other dogs so the XL was a great size, for her alone the large would have been suitable. I hate trying to wash dog beds or when they lose their shape, the machine washable cover is such a bonus! I also added the waterproof lining so I don't have to stress about my dogs rushing to their beds covered in mud or dirt. Since my other dogs loved this bed so much, I purchased another 2 mediums to have around the house - this does fit a large dog, the bed is so good it's worth squeezing into 😂 The dogs and cat also absolutely love the chin rest, there really is so much to appreciate with these beds! Highly recommend 😊

Riley loves his Barney bed as it accommodates all sleeping positions. We purchased it knowing that it will last him a very long time such that it will be orthopaedically supportive for both his growing body as a puppy and then into his senior years. The memory foam maintains its shape and he loves the sides to rest his head on. I have found it very easy to remove and wash the cover and then reassemble it as well. We bought the large size and it has more than enough room for Riley who is almost a year old now and should be close to his maximum Labrador size. I would not hesitate in recommending this excellent bed for your fur baby.

We've finally found a bed that our Staghound thinks its better than a human bed. He used to constantly get up on our bed in the middle of the night, now sleeps on his own bed all night, tells us its time to go to bed and sleeps in in the mornings (on his own bed). He LOVES it. I love that it looks nice unlike most dog beds. So much detail has gone into it too, separate compartments for each part so that they stay in place and it continues to look nice and the cover can come off for thorough cleaning. The foam also has a water resistant cover that can be wiped down so there is nothing to hold smelly dog smell. I should also say their customer service was great. I wasn't happy with the stitching on the cover that came with the bed, it looked a bit loose. They were very quick to respond and offer me a replacement.

I have two samoyeds and they both love it, especially the chin rest feature. I love it because it’s so easy to wash and matches my house decor. So all round very happy with how this product has treated us over the years

I have a 46kg staghound cross who is a comfort pig. I purchased a Barney Bed to make room for myself on the sofa. The dog loves the bed and there is room when friends come over. Sometimes she has to compete with me for space as it’s super comfy to lie on.

I bought a medium bed about 2 years ago for my aging staffy Nelson who had onset arthritis and was no longer able to jump up on the sofa and bed - Nelson loved his comfort. He took to it straight away and became his place of security. Unfortunately he passed in Feb this year. What's fabulous is our new pup staffy Gary also loves the bed and the waterproof liner has been a god send for easily cleaning little accidents. At first I was skeptical about spending the $ on this premium product but it has been the BEST. I am not afraid to admit that I love lying on it too! it's so comfy

I highly recommend the Barney Bed! We wish we found it sooner so we didn’t waste money on beds our dog didn’t like or use. We have a Chow and they are super fussy but he uses his Barney Bed daily - for a rest, a nap, or a solid sleep. He loves the chin rest and his body just completely melts into the bed - which he hasn’t done on any other bed (or even our couch!). It’s also easy to clean which is a benefit for us. Seriously can’t fault it!

Whilst expensive - totally worth it! The only bed that hasn't lost shape or that my dogs haven't destroyed. Easy to wash and large enough for both dogs and the husband when hes in the doghouse :)

The XXL Barney Bed The most useful bed in existence. Is it ridiculously large? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it made for dogs? Yes. Can you and your friends sleep on it? Yes. I’ve had my Barney Bed for a year and a half now. I have my own 3 large breed dogs (Mastiff, American Bulldog & Staffy) and I regularly foster dogs of all breeds and all sizes. I have never had a bed that they’ve loved more. They’ll stretch out and take up the whole bed, and other times they curl up into 1/4 of the bed. They use it to sleep, they collect their toys onto it and play, they rough house with each other on it. It’s used for everything. I’ve spent countless hours snuggled up with the dogs on the Barney Bed. It’s got so much room for adults and dogs combined. We’ve even had movie nights with the kids (put a sheet over the bed) and it turns into a perfect slumber mattress on the floor. The head rest works as a perfect pillow for humans. In a year and a half, I’ve had numerous foster dogs come through. A lot of which were not house trained, or were puppies and hadn’t been toilet trained. There have been accidents on the Barney Bed, and it still looks as fresh as ever. The bed is so easy to wipe spills or urine off of, as it pools on the top due to the waterproof layer underneath. I’ve washed the cover now numerous times, and it comes up so well. It’s easy to get on and off, and having a removable cover makes a world of difference. I don’t need to throw out a (non washable) bed after a while from accidents inside. My dogs love to chew, but they’ve never even poked a tooth into the Barney Bed. I think they love it too much. They’re obsessed with the head rest, they use it all the time, and from all the playing, jumping, toy chewing, there’s never even been a tear in the entire bed. It’s very durable. The mattress itself is so supportive, and doesn’t lose its shape even with 100kg of dogs laying on it every day. One of my dogs has arthritis and this bed is the perfect bed for her. It supports her body and her legs, whilst giving her a head rest too. I’ve always wanted the best for my dogs and I’ve absolutely found it. Honestly, I’ve considered using it as my own bed as my mattress doesn’t even come close to being as supportive. I would recommend the Barney Bed to everyone. The greatest investment I’ve made for my dogs… and for me.

My German Shepherdx London has always been a very restless dog, and always tired, she would change beds every couple of hours! (She has 4 beds, soft, medium, large ottoman and my bed) Today her Barney bed finally arrived! London climbed into it about 7pm, it's now 6.30am, she slept right through! Bought an XL Barney Bed for our 2 American Staffies at the end of 2020 and they absolutely love it 🥰 The both of them can sleep comfortably, with room left over for big stretches! The colour and fabric of the bed is spot on to avoid visible fur, which is an added bonus! Don’t be deterred by the price tag, by the time you add up all of the $$ you spend replacing cheaper beds from Kmart over and over again, you quickly realise you could’ve just made the once-off purchase of a Barney Bed! My labrador loves this bed. She can sleep any way she wants and loves sleeping on her back in this bed as it is so supportive. Also, she loves the headrest. The service at Barney Bed is excellent. I ordered the wrong size for her and they contacted me to check if the size was correct for my dog. I was so pleased because if I had received the bed I ordered, it would have been way too big. Arrived a little more than 24 hrs after ordering! Very happy so far. The communication has been fantastic since even prior to placing the order. I also really liked the email to double check you have ordered the right size and the ability to quickly & easily communicate with the company if unsure. I have a mini Groodle who is 14kg and the medium size is perfect.. I now just have my fingers and toes all crossed he doesn’t destroy it and that it lives up to its reputation as being a great quality dog bed.

Exceptional quality and comfortable dog beds … so worth the investment. My Doberman is able to fully stretch out on the XL and he uses the sides as a pillow … he was on it as soon as it was opened. It is his ‘go to’ favourite relax spot. The sleek design goes with any decor and I really like the ability to purchase spare covers in different colours and fabrics. I ordered the Large size. For reference my girl is 32kg, large-ish mixed breed- about the size of a Labrador, large boxer or small ridgeback. Perfect size with still a bit of room to spread out on. Bed is very supportive and the memory foam means she is laying on a supportive base and not hitting the floor. Cover is very nice and smooth but replacement covers are pretty pricey. My order arrived in 2 days (Brisbane). She is very happy with the bed and I’m hoping this bed lasts as the previous ones from pet barn have not. Glad to support an Australian business. I hope they bring out a couch-friendly version of the Barney bed

At first my dog was hesitant to sleep in her new bed, but she now absolutely loves her new Barney Bed. It’s nicely raised off the floor but still really easy to get into.

My dog is 32kg and large (size of a Labrador or Boxer or small Ridgeback ). We bought the large bed and it’s amazing. It’s very solid and supportive. My dog loves the raised edges for head support. This bed should last her lifetime and if I do need to replace the lining because of tears or scratches (she has big claws) I can buy extra covers.

The Barney Bed is a most excellent product. I would go as far as saying it was one of the best purchases I have made for my four legged friend who suffers from all those ailments associated with old age...joint issues and arthritis of the bones. He has taken to it in a big way...no more restless sleeps, with constant moving to try and relieve the pressure from those areas that give him the most discomfort. In fact he is so comfortable, he's taken to snoring in his relaxed state....not sure if that's good for me. My Barney just loves his Barney bed. He likes the way the memory foam feels under his paws as he presses down to watch it spring back before snuggling down for a snooze.

I ordered our Barney bed on Friday afternoon and it arrived Saturday morning. It’s lovely, looks nice and feels like good quality. We ummed and erred about which size to get as our working cocker is at the recommended measurements for the medium so we had thought about getting larger as he loves to spread out. We went for medium and it’s plenty big enough. He jumped in it straight away and took a nap. We are transitioning out of the crate and he’s still choosing his crate at night time but the Barney bed during the day. It’s only been 3 days and I’ve no doubt he’ll be going through the night in it by the end of the week.

We just got a new Barney Bed for our Cavoodle. He loves it! AND he quickly figured out he can’t chew his way through the seams etc like he has with other, cheaper beds. Worth every cent!!

This is the best bed I have ever bought for my little coco She doesn’t move from it and hasn’t torn it to shreds. She absolutely loves it, so much that sometimes she goes and sits on it in her room on her own over sitting on the couch with me 😂😂.. (which she never used to give up)

I had purchased a Barney Bed online only to find out that it wouldn’t be available until early July. However I was really impressed with the service and option to have my money refunded immediately without hesitation. Just because I didn’t go ahead with the purchase I believe the service and communication was amazing and overall the experience dealing with this company was exceptional.

If you’re on the fence and thinking about purchasing a Barney Bed, I 100% recommend this product! My American bully pup absolutely loves his Barney bed!!! I spent months trying to find the right bed, after our pup had ripped apart several other beds we purchased him. The staff are also amazing to deal with, they answered all my questions promptly and even gave me the option to pick up the bed as we urgently needed it! This purchase is most definitely the best investment we’ve made for our pup, and we’ll certainly be buying more products from the company! 10/10

Oh wow. Our Labrador has been a bit fussy on his beds over the years so we were ready with introducing a new bed without much hope (his old one had served its time). Within I’d say 2 minutes he was in his Barney Bed and fast asleep with his monkey, pig and snowman. How did that happen? Whoever made this is a genius!! 🥰🥰🥰

Admittedly, I haven’t spent over $100 on a dog bed in the past, however, after careful consideration (reviewed many other beds) and consultation with a friend who had a Barney bed, I finally invested in one for my 9yr old fur baby who recently had undergone spinal surgery. Needless to say it was worth every cent! Only moments after we unpacked the bed, our beautiful boy had laid down on it and fell asleep...without any coaxing! Watching him sleep on it, it was as though he hadn’t had a good nights rest in his entire life. We have never seen him sleep so well or so comfortably. We were blown away by his response which has not diminished. I highly recommend this bed, it has been such a worth while investment. Not only does it look great but I know how much my beautiful boy loves it and he is fussy! Angelique🙂

We purchased a Barney Bed for our 3 year old rescue dog for her 3rd birthday after I came across the company as an ad in my social media feed. I read lots of good reviews and the ideas behind the way it is designed sounded exactly right. It was easy to order, the instructions for size etc were simple to follow. Order placed on 4th June, bed received on 7th June which is fantastic compared to normal parcel delivery in our area. Again, instructions for setting up the bed were simple, and Ruby loved it straight away - she was in it and asleep within a couple of minutes of me opening it, and I hadn't even got it into the bedroom yet! Four months later, the bed lives up to all expectations, it looks as good as new even with Ruby's scratching every night to get her position "just right". There's no sagging, no marks, and so easy to run a quick vacuum over to get her hair off - the design is great for this, there's no crevices for hair to get into and impossible to get out, just straight edges. I had an issue with the zip on the cover today and just had an online chat, showed a photo, and a new cover is on the way. Fantastic customer service to match this fantastic product. This was the best money I have ever spent on a pet and will always use this product now. Ruby has also been diagnosed with arthritis and the bed also seems helpful for this. I have had dogs all my life and this is the best bed ever. Believe everything you read, I cannot recommend this bed enough! Further update another year on (2021): The bed is still perfect and Ruby still loves it. There are only minor scratch marks visible but not even had a single thought about a replacement cover yet! And the cover gets washed every couple of weeks too. The memory foam has also completely kept its original shape and form. I haven't bought any of the linen covers, since Ruby is a scratcher I don't thing they would suit her, but I did purchase one of the brand new Barney Blankets last night....can't wait for it to arrive. I have recommended the bed to family and friends and I know at least one of them has bought one and they are also completely satisfied. Barney Bed is worth every cent, please buy one!

Absolutley love this bed... i have a staffy x pitty and got a large but a medium would be perfect but my dog loves the extra room. Its so good i find my fiance lying on it as well hhaha 🤣

I spent so long researching which would be the best bed for my Frenchie pup and fell in love with the Barney Bed! It’s very high quality, comfortable, stylish and easy to wash! Lilo absolutely loves lounging around in it and takes her to toys to play in it too. Would definitely recommend 💕

Couldn't recommend the Barney Bed anymore than I do! I will always be quick to recommend friends and family to purchase a Barney Beds as honestly the quality is second to none. We use to always purchase our British Bulldog Sonny cheap Kmart beds however found it very hard to keep it looking and smelling clean, but also keeping its shape. Which meant we were purchasing a new one every 2-3 months!!! Took the plunge and invested in the Barney Beds and couldn't be more satisfied. We've so far purchased 3 linen covers and 2 Large beds (our bulldog likes to stretch out, so we went a size up from what is recommended) and he couldn't be any happier. He is 9 years old next month so we are all about maintaining his health so the orthopaedic beds are amazing for him. The bed has not lost its shape at all, not even slightly - we purchased our first bed in September 2020 and our dog weighs 24kg. It's also so beautiful in our space and it is an extra bonus that it is sooooooo easy to wash and put back together. We are looking to purchase our third bed shortly as we currently have one in our bedroom and living - wanting to include one in our study area for him. Or them (our kitten) haha. Our kitten loves the Barney Beds!! She will always choose his bed over her's hahahahah. If you're reading this review and thinking about purchasing one, just do it. You'll thank me later :)

My golden retriever, Barnie, and fox terrier, Bob, LOVE their Barney Beds! As soon as I rolled them out, they jumped onboard and enjoy both wrestling and resting on them (often curled up together on the XL size). The linen covers are also a must, especially if grey doesn’t work well as a colour scheme in your house (I bought the oat covers). They’re thick and beautifully finished and easy to clean too. We’ve had the XL bed for nearly two years and no signs of sagging etc either. Easily the best dog bed I’ve ever purchased!

Moose loved his Barney bed from the moment it ‘inflated.’ The quality is incredible, we’ve had ours a good few months now and it still looks brand new! The best part is how easy & quick it is to take the cover on & off to wash. It comes up like new! Highly recommend. I spent ages researching a bed that I thought would last and I couldn’t be happier with the Barney!

This is Max - he is almost 17 years old. He is hard of hearing, can’t see very well, has arthritis and sometimes has no idea where he is (bit like me). A number of times during the night he would fall off his other bed and get stuck under furniture and become very distressed, so when the Barney Bed ad appeared I immediately knew this would be the solution to both our dreams ! Highly recommend the Barney Bed. Our French Bulldog loves it so much we had to buy a replacement cover for when the bed was in the wash as she would whinge for it. Washes well and quick to dry. Very durable. Fast easy delivery.

Dog loves it, and it’s lasted almost a year so far without deflating or loosing shape. Previous dog beds have started getting thin after only a few months. This is fabulous!

Easy to order and quick to arrive, my dog loves his Barney Bed

We ordered a Barney bed for our Labrador puppy, as a single purchase, long term solution, for his bedding needs. We did lots of research, and read lots of reviews, and although the Barney bed is expensive, every review mentioned the quality of the product, with no mention of regret at the purchase. And we have to agree, the bed is fantastic quality in every aspect. We have two covers, and swap them over for easy washing, on a regular basis. The zippers are concealed, so he hasn’t chewed at them. We have started using a single sheet on top of the bed, which makes it easier to keep clean, and reduces the washes of the Barney bed cover. Other family members with fur babies have commented on his bed, and how good it seems to be, but not sure if they’ll balk at the price. We didn’t hesitate, and have zero regrets.

This is hands down the best dog bed we have used for our dogs. I wanted a super comfortable bed for our old bull terrier that wasn’t too high off the ground as she is rather arthritic. She loves it and hardly ever hassles to get in to our bed now! Super easy to clean and really great quality.

Best dog bed we’ve ever owned. Well worth the money. It’s comfortable and supportive for them and doesn’t lose its shape. It’s easy to keep clean the covers zip off and it goes in the wash. We have the linen cover too. We have two Dachshunds and they love absolutely love it. We got the large and it comfortable fits them both.

Ordered XL for our large 4yo male German shepherd. It is expensive, but very nice quality and our dog loved it immediately. He loves resting his chin or head on the raised side bit.

I had been eyeing the XXL bed for so long as no other companies could match size wise! He finally took the plunge and bought the bed! It arrived so quickly ordering on Friday and it arrived Monday (even with all the delays currently!). INCREDIBLE QUALITY! We expected a high quality for the price but was blown away how much better it is then we were expecting! The memory foam is sooo comfortable I have caught my partner laying on it with the girls. We have 4 Australian Shepherds and we’re INLOVE with our new XXL Barney bed!

Initial review 15 Nov 2020: Hey Barney Bed, my dog absolutely loves his new bed - I couldn’t get it out of the box fast enough! But one of the zippers has broken on the third wash. It’s the internal zipper and for all three washes I made sure the main zip was closed to protect the inner one. Can you please help? I’ve taken a photo of the broken zipper but can not attach it here.

Our Golden Retriever puppy always preferred sleeping on wooden floors over his cheap beds, so we tried the Barney bed after reading the reviews. It arrived today and he’s been sitting on it ever since, he loves it! Highly recommend.

After a few failed attempts of comfort (and destruction) with other dog beds, my large shepherd X absolutely loves his XL Barney Bed. We regularly struggle to get him out of it. The durability and quality are worth the price, and when we did experience a defect in stitching for the cover, the Barney team were quick to offer a replacement free of charge. We got the Barney Bed for our French Bulldog, Mickey. So far, he hasn’t liked the other “fluffy” beds that we’ve gotten him and he’s completely destroyed them all. We got recommended this bed because of the texture and “indestructible” style. And so far so good! Mickey has tried to destroy it, but hasn’t succeeded, hasn’t gone to the bathroom on it, and now just enjoys sleeping on it! So highly recommended!

I purchased an XL bed for my 2 dogs (bullmastiff & rottweiler) they love sleeping together and a XL provides so much room for them to do that and there is still room left over. It is such amazing quality and I love the fact the covers are removable to wash, all the other beds iv had havent had removable covers and ended up being disgusting and having to be thrown out. It is money well spent! Anyone who has a dog needa this bed, your dogs will appreciate you!

We recently purchased the Barney Bed (size L) for our Golden Retriever. He immediately loved it and looked so comfortable resting his head on the edge like a pillow. Absolutely love the Barney Bed!!! Ours arrived an hour ago and our dog has climbed in and slept ever since! Yes, they’re on the expensive side but now I see it I can easily see why - really well made - nothing like it in the pet shop - and obviously gets the big tick of approval from from our pooch!! Such a great bed! The raised sides make my puppy feel safe and there’s enough room for him to stretch out in the medium. He used to tear his old beds to pieces when I left the house, however this one is heavier and he hasn’t tried once! Also perfectly matches the colour of my couch - great product and worth the price.

It's as comfy as my own bed! There are many reasons why I would reccomend Barney Bed. You can tell it's been made the careful consideration of your dogs habit and health needs with it's material and the way the rests are made. I love how easy it is clean and put back on, and that it was easy to pay with Afterpay. The different sizes help too! I chose medium for my chihuahua, and its more than enough room for two.
