This is the 3rd cover ive bought for my Golden Retriever & he loved his bed. Unfortunately he just cant help having a chew on the cover every time. I think if the cover was a tighter fit inside the bed tjereveould be less loose fabric to tempt him ! P S he’s already chewed a tiny hole !!!
This is my 2nd Barney bed. My dog is about 90 pounds and loves his size large bed. When the XXL was on clearance, I just couldn't resist and got him a 2nd bed. These was a small issue with the bed, and despite it being a final sale/clearance item, Barney team resolved it very quickly for me. I am a happy customer!
I was hesitant to spend this much on a dog bed but I wish I would have done it sooner. My 65lb hound mix loves it!

Love the color, love the quality. I really love how this bed becomes an accent piece, and I never have to commit to one color for a dog bed. Also, it fits over other dog beds that aren’t necessarily Barney beds which makes it crazy versatile!
My senior golden retriever absolutely loves his new chill pad. It has made him so much more comfortable at night. I was a bit hesitant about purchasing, as i have had products like this before which my dogs have not liked. I put it in the freezer in the morning so it is ready at night. His face when he lies on it is priceless.
I’m sure it’s wonderful but there’s no way I can slip it under the cover of the Barney bed. The best I can do is put it on top of the bed and put a blanket over the bed

I love this product. This is the third bed I have bought with a cover like this. It’s extremely convenient to take off and wash frequently, which is how we like to do our dog beds— washing them frequently. Everything is very well constructed— very heavy and superior quality. The zipper cover the cover covers. The actual bed is waterproof so if for some reason, there’s an accident on the top cover the bottom cover of the bed also zips off for washing.
Great quality. This is the only bed my dog has not tried to destroy. Worth every dollar!
Absolutely delightful cover for the Barney Bed. Gorgeous colour ( I love green) and excellent quality. I am very happy with it and my boys have given the nod of approval too. Two staffies. 🐾🐾🐾
Disappointed that the Husky fabric used was a substitute for the previous Husky blankets purchased. It is thinner and very slippery, but soft. By naming it Husky, I expected it to be the same. If it weren't for twit being so slippery, I would be satisfied with it, especially since it was a no return sale.

The Barneycles cover is perfect! As is the circle bed. The doggo loves and I gifted my rectangular BB with a Barneycles cover to my neice and her dogs have abandoned there beds for the BBB.

Great and soft cover. Love the colour. At first, I was hesitant because of the price. However, it is well worth it. Great quality and crafted with care. It looks stunning and the dog loves it too. Win win.
After some hesitation at first, my dog has now fully embraced his new bed! He now loves it and even invites his best friends. I am glad, I decided to go with a large, not a L+, as this would have been too big forour space.
The design is a hit! My dogs typically lie on the couch but since we brought home the Barney Bed, they have taken turns sleeping in it. It’s a great shape and provides the head support with the lip. I highly recommend it.
The cover is gorgeous and easy to remove and wash. My dogs love it. However the towel threads are coming undone quickly which is tough since it’s an expensive cover. My dogs are 35lb & 20lb so the durability factor should be much higher after 30 days.

The Barney beds are great. This is our second one I use in the back of my car. Our Darcy travel's in comfort. It would be good if you had a choice of colors rather than having to by another cover to get a different colour. We already have spare covers.
I'm honestly obsessed with the tan Nostalgia cover. I love that it's cotton (I'm all about a natural material for my pup!) and such a chic colour. I got the small round one and it matches my interior perfectly. Please make more like this!!

My pup loves her BB! I was worried about the size of the curl bed. For reference my pup is 41lbs and 20 inches long from collar to base of tail. I was worried a medium would be too small and a large way to big but it worked out perfectly. If your dog is any larger than mine purchase the larger bed. I love Barney Beds! And so does my dog… I have gave my medium BB to my neice and her dog have abandoned their beds haha they are the best
Two toy poodles LOVE their new Barney Beds so much they sometimes choose to stay snuggled rather than follow me around the house! The only way to improve the Barney Bed would be to make a longer version that would fit 2 small dogs comfortably together. My toy poodles tend to squash themselves into just one of the beds. If only there was a longer variant....

I could not be happier with the Barney Bed. I’ve purchased a number of other high-end beds and none of them hold a candle to the Barney Bed. The design is excellent, with memory foam bolsters that maintain a shape attractive enough to qualify as “furnishing” in my living room and a water-resistant cover that is strong, beautiful, and—most importantly—so easy to take off and put back on for laundering. Those are my reasons for loving this bed. My dog loves this bed because of the superior support and cushioning of the sleeping area, and the option to rest his head on bolsters that mimic the comfort of our best pillows. My dog loves this bed so much that he stays in it all night, rather than sneaking upstairs to sleep on the guest room bed. This is the best bed we have ever had!
Piper, our 15 year old Australian Cattle Dog, loves his cooling mat. I bought a second one to make sure i always had one in the refrigerator. We keep socks on him so he doesn’t slip and Piper is always hot so this mat is a game changer.

We Have had the L+ Barney bed for our 8yo Golden Retriever Clancy for 9 days now. It’s only the last 3-4 days he has started realising it’s his bed, he’s been the last one up in the mornings and I can hear his dreaming whimpering sounds now. I have also been dragging this into the lounge to lie on for binge watching reality TV! It’s amazing after a day on your feet! The curved edges provide perfect neck support! We are sharing this bed! It took a few days for it to properly fluff out.
Our rottie loves her Barney Bed we also have a daughter with Asthma and a dust mite allergy. Having a dog bed that you can put the cover in the washing machine is amazing!
I have purchase a Barney bed before for my 3 large dogs and it’s fantastic. They love it especially my golden retriever.we now have a new pup retriever and bought the new round large bed and all the dogs love it. Best dog bed and long lasting just perfect
My two dogs absolutely love your bed! It provides excellent joint support, which really helps keep them healthy, and it’s incredibly comfortable with amazing body-contouring support. I only regret that I didn’t buy another one during the Boxing Day sale! 🐶💖
Actually a really lovely heavyweight linen, quality construction and fabric. Fits the bed loosely (probably to ensure extra give to pull it over the top) but I’m quite happy with the slouchy look. My only bid drawback is the price, I don’t feel like the large size cover is worth $300 for what it is - the make is quite basic but you get caught buying covers from same brand due to sizing etc of course. As much as I love the cover, I wouldn’t buy it again simply due to the price. I’d much prefer to care and repair the one we now have

LOVE our Barney beds… we have had them for 3 years now. Our dogs sleep in them every night and they still look brand new. We have the white boucle cover and ordered the new fur cover for a good change up. Excellent quality bed. Recommend them to SO many people.

The Barneycles cover fits very poorly. It is just secured by elastic, not zipped securely. It sags inside the bed, which looks very cheap. The ‘barneycles’ are also poor, stitched down instead of poking out. I’ve tried to pull out as many as I could, but so many are still stitched down. This is not what I’d expect for the price we paid - $245 just for an elasticised cover.
My dog is a 30 lb goldendoodle. We decided to go with the large since he likes To stretch out and it was perfect! I have to admit, I love to lay in the bed with him! It’s so comfortable and very well made.
A really beautiful and cooling fabric that my toy breed dogs absolutely love. The slip on design makes this cover super quick and easy to fit over the existing Barney bed cover (which my dogs also Love)! 10/10!
Great color. My pup loves it! Could probably size down as the bed is huge! I have a golden retriever and got size XL.
It feels soft and plush! Very comfy. However, our German shepherd has been a bit apprehensive about it and would not stay on it for tools long… not sure what her problem with it. Her friend, black lab stayed the night with us and loved the bed. Will see if she warms up to it with time
Very happy with this bed so far! I bought this bed for my two Dobermans to replace a bed from another brand that had ripped (actually we were on our third bed from the previous company, all 3 ripped after 4-6 months of use). The Barney bed is thick a soft memory foam, it is very supportive and comfortable which is great for my 10 year old Doberman who had some arthritis in his back legs.It is a really good looking dog bed and I am really happy with how it looks in my house. Both of my dogs have black hair so it does show on the bed but the hair vacuums up easily. The Large size is perfect for my Dobermans- one is 55 lbs and one is 70 lbs, both like to curl up in their beds. The fabric cover seems to be thick and high quality so I have high hopes that it will hold up to rips longer than their previous beds. Only two weeks in with the Barney bed but so far I am very happy with it!
Ace absolutely loves this chill pad. He really feels the heat and he now gets so excited for bedtime. Once this slips under his bed cover he dives straight into bed and he sleeps so well now! The chill pad does well to stay cold overnight, we put ours in the freezer throughout the day. Would definitely recommend!
We love everything Barney Bed. We have beds and multiple covers for each. Cooling bed cover is lovely on these hot days. Quality as always, customer service excellent. If you don’t want to be rebuying pet beds, trust Barney Bed.
Everything is made shittier these days…. But not Barney!!! I’m happy to save up to support a company who makes QUALITY products that are made to LAST. I definitely notice the little details like the fact that these covers accommodate the contours of the foam. Never any loose threads, or wonky anything. I’ve had other memory foam beds, and had to purchase waterproof liners made for baby change tables or crib covers, but they always bunched. Eventually after 7 years, the foam of our casper (after a handful of accidents) was disintegrating and had to be tossed. Really want to prevent that happening with our Barney bed, and I think with this it’ll out last the dog 🥹

These beds are absolutely amazing! Basically a well padded/sturdy memory foam mattress for fur babies. Take the plunge! I promise you have never seen or felt anything like it…it might be better than the mattress you sleep on at night…its that good.

This is my 3rd Barney bed I’ve bought. Last 2 for English staffy’s. They passed 8mths apart 6yrs ago & the two friends I gifted the beds to are still using them. That would make them 11 years old. After meeting my partner &becoming a pug mum I encouraged a Barney bed now that pumby is 7. We have had it 1 week & Pumby is getting used to it. He loves his cool cover & we got the cool Matt. We had our first excessively hot weekend in WA with 34,38,40. I place the gel cool pad under the cool cover & it’s been a winner!! I wanted a small round but there was not an available cool cover etc. I think if you release a shape it should’ve at the same time as accessories. Either way I have read negative reviews on. Cool cover but I debunk that. My pug digs & has but no real pulls. I think as usual quality product. I will always shout out for Barney Bed because I have an almost 15yr relationship with the brand. No not asked to write this & so not know the owner.

We bought The Barney Bed for our beautiful old dog Scout, and it’s been a total hit. Super comfortable, beautifully made, and clearly designed with older dogs in mind. Scout settled into it straight away, even the kids want to curl up in it 🤣 Highly recommend for any dog who deserves a little extra comfort! The size large is more than enough for a medium sized labradoodle and his miniature labradoodle little brother!
Bought the bouclé Barney for my kelpie after she kept claiming a friends one. Now that she has one of her own, she sighs every time she lies down like she’s just come home from a 12-hour shift and the bills are due. Safe to say she approves!
Absolutely beautiful bed! I had been considering these beds for sometime. Wasted money on some inferior quality ones which tbh weren’t much cheaper. If you are thinking about these, go for it…So comfortable and well made. Can’t get my Labrador out of it 🤣

This is our second Barney bed, and it’s by far our favorite! We have two English Setters, and both of them gravitate to the round Barney bed. We still love the rectangular style, but the round one is their clear favorite. It’s beautifully made, easy to clean, and looks great in our home
My dog is a big hairy beast of a dog, and she feels the heat a LOT! The chilli pad is great, though it is hard for me to get her to sleep in a bed when she is that hot.

Let me Start of by saying its a beautiful bed and it goes with our interior design well. When assembling the bed by inserting the foam pieces, the whole time, I was dreading the next time I have to reassemble the bed after washing the cover. We have a french bulldog and his prior bed was the cheap amazon donut fluff bed. I wanted to get him a memory foam bed so it'll be easier on his hips but, he prefers his old bed. The foam was stiffer than expected. Thought it would feel like a memory foam pillow but it's more of a dense foam, like the foam they put into furniture for padding. Since it is final sale with no returns I'm trying to find a replacement foam thats softer and plush.
This is a great cover especially for post-bath time. All my dogs love it. I really like that it goes on like a fitted sheet. It’s still a workout getting on and off but it’s worth the effort.

The moment I unboxed the Barney curl bed, my little toy poodle jumped into it even before the bed had fully inflated. So comfortable. Simba loves it. This is his second Barney bed. He also owns a Barney rectangular bed which is still as good as when purchased 4 years ago.

The Barney Bed is the best bed my Maltese has had so far. The others would lose its bottom cushion in a short amount of time rendering it worthless. I did have to add his blanket on top to teach him that it was his new bed.
This is our second Barney bed purchase, they are incredible dog beds. Very easy to clean, wipe any marks off you see and they last for years and years.
My doggies love it and I love seeing these at home. Just so cute. I ordered two (matcha and brown) in size M for two mini bichons (weighs 5lb each). It’s quite big for them and wish I could have gotten the S but still good. One of beds was delivered without an inner cushion for the chin rest and the support team sent me the item the next day. I am interested in trying more of their products in the future for smaller sizes as well. :)

My Sheltie was sceptical of this new bed at first but now is very comfortable & rested . The bed is of very good quality foam with lots of support. Medium is a good size for her too !
The bed is great quality and the cover too. I have had the bed for over two weeks now and my dog refuses to sleep in it, despite me trying all the suggestions from the Barney team. So unfortunately for me this was an expensive and useless purchase.
Repeat customer. I purchased a large sized bed for my Labrador, it’s the perfect fit. She loves her new bed from the moment she laid down. These beds maintain their shape, are easy to clean, and light enough to move easily. Great customer service and fast delivery.
Finally!! The PERFECT size bed. Lenny just LOVES it - We have tried Large and XLarge - one is too small, the other just too big. This is just right. Looking forward to seeing more replacement covers. Great job. Great customer service as always - highly recommend Barney Beds. Great product.

Tex loves his bed. From the moment it was unwrapped it has been his favorite spot to chill out. He usually loves to snuggle with his humans but during the warmer days and nights he prefers his Barney as it keeps him cool and prevents him from stressing out in the heat.
LOVE the OG Bed, bought it on sale a few months back for my boy. It’s worth every cent full priced. Sadly though, this cover is BAD. The stitching is a mess with fraying, random strays, threads coming undone, tangled/knotted. Leftovers not backstitched to anchor the excess, just left there. Edges, fabrics & zips look unfinished. The zip getting caught in loose threads & snagging just adding to it. Unlike this, the OG cover has bound edges to conceal & protect the raw edges/zips. While imperfections are expected & individually not a big deal - Together, in comparison to the exact same product in grey, the quality drop is MAJOR. I’m shocked. It compromises the functionality of the cover. 1 wash & it’s over. I wish could add pics, as it’s disheartening to compare. Glad I got this during BF but I fear it’s not even worth 1/2 the sale price. LOVE the brand, how the owner used her voice for good & the OG Bed, but this cover isn’t it. Low quality & not what you would hope for.

Fabric looks great! First cover lasted two years with much use by the cat and the dog! The cat was the first to jump onto the bed with the new cover. I thought he might be reluctant because it was a new smell. Originally purchased the Barney Ben for Milo (dog) but they do like to share!

It’s big enough for our doggo to stretch out and the raised side is perfect as she loves having her head resting on a pillow. When she curls up it’s also the perfect size for her to feel snugged up against the side walls. She is a beaglier that that looks very much a cavalier and the size of a cavalier.
My 14 year old adores this bed. By far the most supportive orthopedic bed we've purchased for her and I think the search is over.

I got the BarneyBed in Large+ in Bone. My two labs share it (they each weigh about 55 lbs) - they like to curl up near each other. Bed seems well made and comfortable and the size is good for our dogs. I got the new version in part because it’s waterproof. I haven’t had to test that yet (but I’m sure I will). The bone color gets dirty instantly. Yes I can spot clean, but that’s a pain. Dog hair also really stick to the fabric. I got the Furfy and it’s helpful, but doesn’t get in the corners or edges. I’m considering ordering a Slip cover, but they don’t come in Large+. I’ve also sent this question through the chat feature and gotten no response. I’m not thrilled with the (lack of) customer service, especially given the prices.
Long ago, our two dogs lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Barney Bed arrived. Where there was once no fights over which bed each dog slept in, now there is a constant battle of wills as to who gets the Barney Bed. I fear sometimes that when we are not home, one dog is sleeping soundly and peacefully in luxury comfort, and the other is just standing over them. For hours. Waiting for the other to move so they can have a turn. To be clear, our dogs are allowed on the couch AND on OUR orthopedic bed. They still pick the Barney Bed to fight over. My husband and I are genuinely considering purchasing the XXL for us at this point. The Barney Bed is the only bed our dogs have ever willingly shared; not out of love for eachother, but out of desperation for ultimate comfort. Only purchase a SINGLE Barney Bed if you have a SINGLE dog. Don't make our tragic mistake. This is not a bed for sharing between dogs. Really amazing bed!! My dog (link) turned three last month, and I thought we’d buy him his forever bed, finally. He’s a 75lb retriever mix whom will be prone to orthopedic issues, so I’m excited to experience its longevity given he’s had 3 previous beds already. There was no hesitation from link to lay it on. It took a few days to completely inflate, and one of the bolsters that didn’t fluff up all the way. However, the Barney Bed customer service was so accommodating, providing a new insert. The quality of product And people speak volumes for the company’s values. I can’t wait to purchase more covers!
I love this dog blanket and hope they add a matching rich brown cover for the barney bed in the future. It washes well and I even started using it over my feet when my dog is on the couch with me

The XL Barney bed was purchased through the archive sale. Couldn’t be happier! Saved money and was able to use the steam iron (as suggested on their site) to bring life back to the bolsters. This bed is amazing. We purchased the XL since we have multiple large dogs and there is still room to lay down on it with them. They love the bed, it is durable, does not loose it’s shape and easy to spot clean with soap and water.

Been looking for a new dog bed for my 5 yo lab. Something with more joint support and will last well into his senior dog years. I was eyeing this bed and when the sale came about I snagged a L side bed for my dog! Unfortunately my dog has been avoiding laying in it! I hope he comes around eventually but I was a little disappointed. Usually he is drawn to any new bed or blanket but I think it may feel too firm for him? :(

Really pleased with the quality of this bed. My dog is over 16 years old and a pet psychic told me she needed an orthopedic bed - I did my research and hoped Barney would be as good as it seemed and it exceeded my expectations! I got the waterproof cover kit and the arthur-itis cover and it’s just perfect for my senior queen.

We have two Barney beds now and you can’t fault the quality. Only thing with the medium curl is it’s a smaller than we expected, especially next to the standard Barney bed. Our Frenchies love them though so we wouldn’t buy anything else.
Love the bed. It's substantial and well made. I'm sure our new golden retriever will love it. I bought the waterproof cover as well. I'm not sure it's needed, but it can't hurt! I also bought a lovely cream colored cover to replace the original gray one. It's very classy, and since we can wash it, I'm not worried about the color. This bed will be great for my senior golden and for our new puppy to grow into.

I am really glad I purchased two L+ beds for my Salukis! The 10 year warrenty and quick response customer service really sold me. They love the feel of the beds. I now see why alternative, extra purchase covers are sold: the cover the bed comes in is not the best for us. I wish 1). I had understood this, and, 2). Since our beds' sizes are new, we will need to wait for covers in our size. They are very expensive, and I wish the cover that it comes in was a choice when purchasing. Otherwise, the beds are a hit.

Bought this bed for my little dogs who love to curl up, took them less than a minute to hop on in and lie down. Have it next to my medium barney bed and they all take turns in the curl bed.

Bed is the right size and nice overall however 2 of the 4 bolster sides are still flat and have not risen. Lot a money for a bed with failing foam. Otherwise my dog seems to like it
I think the support of the bed is great. However, I expected the bolsters to be a bit more defined/higher, or something?Also, slightly frustrated that about a month after receiving size Large bed that I ordered, company introduced a size in between Large and X-Large. Which of course is nothing but bad just bad luck for me, because that’s the size that would have been perfect for my dog, Buttercup. Sincerely happy for those who have the new option, just it had been available a few months ago. However, the cooling cover is great and I’ll probably end up buying the other cover that sets it up as a three bolster for more room
Our dog absolutely loves this cover versus the one that was on it originally although that was nice as well. It fits snuggly and it’s very attractive.
Our sweet boy absolutely loves it. He rest his head on the bolsters, hides a few toys and takes long day naps on it.

My dog Reggie absolutely loves his Barney Bed! He’s a big dog, so finding something that actually fits him comfortably has always been a challenge. I ordered the large size, and it’s perfect — he used to hang off the edges of his old bed, but now he’s cradled safely inside the cozy borders. It’s clearly well-made, and he looks so relaxed every time he curls up in it. Highly recommend for anyone with a big pup who deserves real comfort!

Disappointing purchase, wished I did more research before buying. Alway wanted to but this dog bed expecting premium for the price but purchase bed with ink transfer and yellow stains to be told its normal is poor customer experience.
It’s great. Expect it will last a long time and my dog took to it pretty quickly. One bolster didn’t rise fully though. It’s been over 14 days and I tried unzipping the inner parts and steaming it. No luck. So that’s why I’m glad I didn’t pay full price bc I’d be really mad. My dog is 2 but I might buy the arthritis cover and remove that one so it looks better. Looks aside, seems good and helped me figure out if I’m buying the curl bed too.

My dogs love their Barneys, I now have 4, and each one is well used!I have seen an improvement in the movement arthritic old.
I was initially thrilled with this product. The quality is great, and I absolutely love the design and rich colour. However, despite the fantastic look, my dog was not a fan. She used it for just a few hours on the first night and hasn't touched it since. It's a beautiful, well-made bed, but unfortunately, it didn't pass the ultimate test with my pup. I'd recommend it for quality, but it might not be a hit with every dog.
I wish it had the zipper vs it being a slip-on.

I have received the new bed just over a week ago and it hasn't inflated anywhere near where it's meant to. Because it was purchased on sale Barney Bed advised they will not provide any warranty or returns. They gave me a tip to try and fix the bed but it hasn't helped. Unless they're willing to assist with replacing the faulty foam, I wouldn't recommend purchasing from Barney Bed.

My puppy loves her new bed. It’s too big for her now, but I’m confident she’ll continue to like it as she grows into it. I’m also pleasantly surprised by how unobtrusive it is. It’s the large size, but it seems to disappear into the corner of the room.
Our 13 year old Labrador Maverick absolutely loves his Barney bed. His arthritis can usually make him restless and uncomfortable but since we bought him this bed he sleeps soundly for hours. Can’t fault the bed at all. He is so happy.

The cover is absolutely beautiful, and my dog loves it. The only reason I didn't give it all five stars is that the fabric was long near the zippers, and often got caught, making getting it on more difficult than it needed to be.
I had originally bought the linen slip covers and although I followed the washing instructions they shrunk a lot so decided to try this one Instead.i only washed it once and seems to not shrink.
Although I measured our dog's two Barney beds in relaitn to the measurements on the website- to ensure I selected the correct size the two large covers we received are too small to go over our existing barney beds. I am going return them to you and want to purchase the extra large size instead.

With the Canadian dollar exchange this was definitely a premium priced bed, but I think it's great value for the money and has all of the features I searched for for my dog as he gets older. I wanted an orthopaedically sound mattress, bolsters, washability and water proofing. An added bonus as my dog gets older with his arthritis is that I'll have the option of removing one bolster and buying a Barney 3 bolster cover to convert it into a bed he can more easily get into. And while Shiloh doesn't care, I love the different colours of slip covers so I can switch them out easily while one is in the laundry. He and I are super satisfied with this bed.
My dog loves this towel cover, which seems to encourage him to spawl out on his bed and roll around. And it looks great. The only downside is that because I swap it with another slip cover between washings, and live in a small condo, the L size Barncycles cover is very heavy and thick compared with other covers and challenging to store. Folded, it completely fills a 17x17x17 cubby shelf. So it's a wonderful item but beware if storage space is limited.
The availability of waterproof liners was a significant factor in choosing a Barney bed. Other covers are water resistant, but as my dog ages he has occasional small bladder leaks and it is reassuring to know that not only are my bed covers washable, but the mattress and bolsters underneath will stay clean and protected for years to come. I was easily able to zip these right over the provided mattress and bolster encasements. Great quality fabric that doesn't make a "plastic" noise under his Barney bed covers.

This is actually my second time buying this product. The first one I got was an XL, which was absolutely perfect, hence the 5-star rating. I have two Labradors, so the XL size worked wonders. However, we're in the process of moving to a smaller apartment, which means no space for a big bed. That's why I had to downsize to a size L. Unfortunately, the L size doesn't seem to be as fluffy, and I'm not quite sure why. As a result, the cover looks a bit loose and doesn't fit properly.
Waterproof cover is great for our dog with incontinence. Only downside is the zip breaks quite easily and we have to replace yearly
Although there was an issue with this bed, I was impressed with the communication and how the company rectified the situation. I have purchased numerous products over the years including beds and interchangeable covers. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for the quality of product and professionalism in the way they respond to product issues. No issues with the service or quality of the bed, but unfortunately especially for the cost my dogs do not like to sleep on it. Was hoping they would sleep throughout the night on the new bed and to this point they have not. Maybe it will change but have some regrets about ordering such an expensive and large bed that does not get used.
Maybe it’s too soon to tell. My dog won’t sit in the bed. I don’t know if that’s her or the bed…… The quality of the bed is good. I just spent a lot of money for an empty dog bed.
I definitely like the esthetic and I think my dog likes it too so far. My only complaint is it definitely is not as full and sturdy as it appears in their stock pictures. I got one of the beds they had to send a replacement top part right off the bat because of a defect and even with the new one they automatically sent I’m not super impressed for the money we paid.
This bed is amazing! It is more comfortable than my bed! The reason I know is that it is huge enough for me and all 4 of my dogs. Beware, I just assumed because all other companies idea of a large bed is a puny little bed. I didn’t even pay attention to the measurements. Even if my dog didn’t love it I would keep it for myself!
Lovely and smooth thicker cover. I can tell will last longer. Wish I had known sooner they were thicker than the basic covers as I would have bought them straight off if id had known.

This cover is super high quality. My dog LOVES this cover. I often see her rub her face on it after she eats. Lol. If you don’t have a Barney Bed, this cover (whether round or square) has an elastic band and it fits around any bed - as long as you match the dimensions. I wish they they had some darker colors!!!
After 40 years of what I thought were good dog beds for my dogs weighing from 33 to 49 pounds, I finally have a dog bed that is firm but not too firm, very easy to disassemble to clean and put back together and have one he loves with a place to rest his chin. Love this bed!!

My spangold retriever loves her Barney bed and her new towel cover. It’s a very snug fit (I’d say it’s a 2-person job to put the large size one on the bed). Super comfy, well constructed and the colour is lovely!
My dog loves this bed. She is a huge donut bed dog, and this one suits all her needs perfectly. The sides are sturdy enough to support her, while still be cozy enough to lounge on. Super grateful it is washable as well, and the cover and the texture blend well with our decor.

Our two pugs love their BarneyCurl beds so much! We originally bought a large BarneyCurl bed in Golden Teddy for our main floor because we loved the look of it. It goes with our style so well that we don't mind having it out. In the large BarneyCurl bed, the two pugs have plenty of room to lay out and they also enjoy curling up and using the bolster. We decided that it was worth buying a medium BarneyCurl bed in matcha for a smaller space upstairs. Both pugs love the medium just as much and the matcha color is just a fun change. We get compliments on the look of the beds all the time!
Technically, there's nothing wrong with the bed. I ordered a large based on the measurements and guidelines on the website but definitely could have ordered a medium and still had plenty of room. Unfortunately, I think in part due to the large size, it's not my pup's first choice when it's bedtime. And also unfortunately, I opened the box so cannot return or exchange.
We are very pleased with this extra cover. It's good to have a spare to swap over when they are washed.

My Bear loves his Barney bed, we have had the bed for around 4/5 months now and I just decided to add a couple more covers to our collection, this one and the cooling mat (which I will review once we try it out!) but this cover is incredible. The quality is unmatched, the zips are very sturdy and the material is thick and strong, I have already put it in the washing machine and it washes very well, also I noticed it doesn’t take very long to dry. I cannot fault either the Barney bed or this cover. If you are on the fence about making the purchase - don’t!! I can’t wait to order more!! And know that the bed and the covers will last for plenty more years to come.
Exactly what I was looking for. A curl bed with a bolster, real memory foam and lots of cushion.
Easier to put on and take off compared to the original. Onlythe base doesnt get covered so not sure if it will get dirtier or more worn out now. Love the colour and my dog still loves his bed. Scrstches it to get comfy and it doesnt tear.

I have bought a few of these covers. Even though they rip along the seems easily (I had msgd and gotten replacement covers before only to have them do it again) Waiting for 1/2 price sales makes me not *as* frustrated by this though I still find hundreds of dollars for covers hard to swallow. I really do need to be able to change the cover regularly which was a main reason I originally purchased this bed. Frustratingly I haven't been able to find a more cost effective cover or have success with these going much of a distance before ripping even with using the correct care instructions and owning dogs that don't scratch before laying. There's are ALWAYS along the seems.

This is a great bed cover! Apart from matching my carpet perfectly they really are great covers. Superb quality, and so easy to slip on and off for washing. But such a good fit as to never move when on.

My English Labrador loves her new bed. She weighs 64 pounds and the large size fits her perfectly. The quality of the bed is superior to all the less expensive beds I have purchased in the past. This bed is firm and supportive. My Georgia loves resting her head on the raised edges. We are pleased with this purchase. The bed is worth the higher cost. It is very well made. A winner!
Our Barney Bed has only been used for 5 days and my 8 month old cocker spaniel has already put a hole in the seam of the cover. I have now taken the bed away and will not give back to him for some time.

My two unstylish cocker spaniels still prefer their ratty round bed to the Barney bed (they race each other as to who gets the ratty one). That said the Indie Boho I had bought them as the second bed is never used now (they never enjoyed it). Barney always preferred over the Indie. Getting back to the Barney bed, I was sent the bed plus an extra ring— did the trick and with a few hours the bed was at maximum fullness. I love it— beautiful, stylish and looks so much better than the ratty one. Super fast service and they even checked to make sure I had ordered the right size after I bought it. So I would recommend the Barney bed. It took me some time to make the decision, due to the cost and worrying about some of the online reviews. But all those worries were unnecessary as the bed is beautiful, great quality and great service. I imagine after 4 years it will still be looking gorgeous, unlike the ratty round bed… My cockers can never get enough pillows, so I suspect I need to just get a few pillows for the Barney and then they will race for that bed. Poor Indie Boho will need to be donated…my dogs are curl sleepers.
Maggie loves her Barney bed and her new cover. Was easy to place on and her other cover washed and dried up like new.
My favorite pup LOVES her Barney bed and loves to stretch out and sleep in lots of different positions . I think the bumper is a perfect height and what I personally love the most is the washable sheet that is super easy to wash and put back on. The reason for the four stars is they are out of stock on ALOT of the washable slip covers in a large. I am looking for a gray and having a hard time understanding how they can be out of stock on so many items.
Why have 1 Barney Bed when you can have 2. After purchasing the first one for our main living area and realising how beautiful it was, we decided to get another one for our bedroom and do away with the daggy one. We just love them, and they are such good quality and never have that saggy daggy look.
My puppy does not chew or rip this cover. Wonderful.
My mini poodle puppy loves to dig so his first cheap bed barely lasted 6 months. I decided to go ahead and buy his Barney forever bed and picked the teddy cover to match his hair. He scratches away and this cover is strong enough to take it AND hides his dirty paw prints.

We love our Barney Bed! I initially ordered the wrong size for my dog based on the measurements provided on the website (German Shepard/Great Pyrenees 55 in nose to tip of tail). The customer service I received was AMAZING and they even had me donate the original bed to a local charity to accommodate for me getting the new size. Milo is a big boy and as he gets older I feel it is the most important for his joints to be comfortable! The Barney Bed is made so incredibly well and I feel so good knowing I've given him the best there is to offer! Couldn't say enough positive things about this company and the product I purchased.

This Barneycles cover is ADORABLE!!! I’d buy more except I don’t like any of the other colors. I bought the “sand” color. It goes on easily. I haven’t washed it yet. My dog LOVES it.
We got the Barney Bed Curl (M) for our Frenchie and she’s obsessed! The raised edges make it super cozy, and the quality is top tier plush, durable, and easy to clean. It looks great in the house and has officially become her favourite spot. Highly recommend!

The Barney Bed Boucle Cover is absolutely gorgeous! It’s such a quality cover like all the Barney Bed covers are but it’s got that little bit extra luxe look and feel. It makes their beds look and feel so cozy and warm. My 2 golden retrievers Milly & Mahlowe Absolutely LOVE them and so do I!

Uno, our 14 year old cocker spaniel, absolutely LOVES his new Barney bed. He immediately jumped right in, gave it a few snuzzles and was snoozing in minutes! It is the perfect size all because of the incredible customer service leading up to delivery! I am so impressed by the engineering which will make clean-up a breeze. I loved how a little "accident" just pooled right up on the cover, not even going to the water proof lining underneath that I got. And for daily cleaning, a little vacuum got any grit up. Great company with a satisfied costumer!
We got the Barney beds after trying multiple brands over a 3-year period. This bed is far superior in quality than any bed we tried, and we tried them all! It wasn’t until, however, we got the boucle covers that our dogs absolutely fell in love with them. They collapse in them with abandon now, and the covers fit tightly, yet are more removable for washing than the cover Barney beds come with. The Barney beds are the most solid, most odor resistant, and most supportive beds, and with the super comfy cover, it is the absolute perfect dog bed. I couldn’t recommend a dog bed more highly-remember, get the cover too!

My dog and I are in love with this bed. The quality is incredible, it feels like a real mattress! My dog is notoriously picky with beds, she is a German Shepherd mix with horrible hip dysplasia, and this has been such a comfy and wonderful spot for her to rest. She spends way more time on this bed than any other we have had, and it definitely helps keep her less sore. Not only am I incredible impressed with the quality and function, it is beautiful - so nice to have a functional and gorgeous dog bed! I highly HIGHLY recommend Barney.

Love our Barney Beds our 2 Golden Retrievers love snuggling in them especially in Melbourne in the Winter. We have been extremely pleased that with a Linen Slip cover over the beds they are still like new underneath after many years. They are a purchase that lasts & lasts!

Before we got the Barney bed, my dog Olive was strictly a “furniture girlie.” Now, she spends all her time lounging in her Matcha round bed! I always joke that Olive thinks she’s a Samoyed (even though she’s actually a little brown staffie mix), she imprinted on our family’s late Sammy. With her new Barney bed, I’m even more convinced she’s embracing her adopted Samoyed roots. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase!
I purchased my second barney bed + cover for my doggo and felt very bad about throwing away the original unused base cover as I did last time. This time I have return sent it back to you but thought you should include a prepaid sticker for all customers to do the same so the covers could be reused rather than adding to our burgeoning landfill.
My beagle wasted no time and jumped right on the bed. I got one of the teddy slipcovers so it is ultra cozy. He loves squiggling around on the bed—doing what I like to call his "happy dance." One night, while we were all in the den, I actually caught him alone in the kitchen laying on his Barney bed because he loves it so much!
for the slip cover, you should recommend that clients size up because this one is too tight for the bed. I feel like I should have ordered larger size than the actual bed.

Our three Australian Shepherds think it’s way too hard. They wouldn’t lay on it til we put a soft cushy blanket on it. Great looking bed, just not comfortable at all. Way over priced. Unfortunately once you open the bed there are no refunds.

So excited when it arrived, once unpacked looked a little limp, but Miss Murphy (Cocker Spaniel) said “give it a little while……I’ll use it as it is….” - clever dog, within 24 hrs it was perfect!!!!! Happy dog, happy owner!

As this is just a loose slip cover that is held over the original cover with elastic, the bed surface remains loose and the seams between panels can bunch up. My dog started digging at the bed surface as it was loose, resulting in the seams tearing. Found the seam tape on the inner surface didn't have enough coverage of panel edges allowing the stitching to open up and start to tear or separate.
I am in love with the Barney bed snd its covers. I got both the towel cover and the Teddy cover. They were a little difficult to put on but once they are, it’s heaven for my dogs. They love the bed and they are the most important ones that count!

Purchased 2 Storm Grey blankets; XL for GSD and size L for our Lab. Both dogs enjoy cuddling with the blankets as they are very soft. XL is substantially bigger so if you’re looking for your pup to have extra fluffiness surround them this is the size to order. Blankets wash up nicely (air dry only) and are very easy to maintain between washings. One of the top benefits is how these blankets do not accumulate hair. A gentle shake and the few hairs on the blanket fall right off. I was a bit skeptical when I saw this claim by others but I’m happy to say it is true.
Will protect the bed from stains, etc
Our dogs really like the coziness of this cover! I like that it is a “sloop” design and can be pulled off and on for washing. It is much harder to get on than the other washable covers (I wish it was a little bigger) and it takes a LONG time to dry but I would definitely buy them again.

I have two GS aka German Shedders, and I also own a Dyson vacuum. The furfy works better. It’s faster and easier to use.

Overall, not super satisfied. First, the bed itself is made of very hard memory foam, doesn’t feel very comfortable, and my dog doesn’t like to sleep on it. Second, the original bed sheet is extremely vulnerable. It already got scratched the first time my dog stepped on it, just like that, one paw scratch.
The bed is so well made, and my older English bulldog loves it! I love the color of the matcha cover, it looks very stylish.
My dog recently had Acl surgery, he always found a comfortable position to lie in on his new bed. Highly recommended this bed, will never buy anything else🩷💙
The Barney Bed is beautifully designed and made with high-quality, stylish materials that look great in any space. My toy poodle absolutely loves it — he lounges, naps, and blends right in! The bed is definitely a bit big for him right now, but he’ll grow into it, and it’s already his favorite spot. One of the bolsters didn’t fully inflate at first, which was a little disappointing, but customer service was incredibly responsive and quickly sent a replacement. From the packaging and fast shipping to the aesthetic and support, everything else was perfect. Highly recommend!

We bought this cover specifically gorgeous our new puppy anticipating some resistance to being bathed. He is and the Barneycles towel cover is the perfect antidote to comfort and calm him down after. We highly recommend it. Easy to wash and super comfortable.

We have a mini dachshund puppy who is 5 months old. This is the 4th bed that we’ve tried for him since he’s very picky. Read the reviews and gave it a try. The fur cover is similar to some soft waterproof blankets we got for in that he really likes, so tried it out. The moment we put it out he jumped on it, and he loves it. He does nibble on the fur a little bit, but it’s becoming his relaxing place. Definitely recommend!

The cover is perfect/beautiful and held up well on the first wash, however, my 2 dogs just dig on the bed and leave... they will not lay or sleep on the bed. It’s a very comfortable bed, so I’m surprised. I have no idea why they won’t lay on it. :(
This is our second Barney Bed. There's no denying they're expensive and whilst I was tempted to go a cheaper alternative I knew in the long run this would be the best bet. Dog loves it, easy to clean.. got to be happy with that.
Hello and thank you for allowing me to write a wonderful review. I only found out about this bed recently reviewing many great reviews. Molly Faye was almost 18 years old. Unfortunately, after a very short time with the Barney bed which she loved has passed on. It was sudden for us, but please know I have many great photographs with her so comfortably in the Barney bed. It was great service. The packaging was impeccable and I’m holding onto the Barney bed forever. I’m not ready to donate it.
We bought this cover for the curl bed after previously buying one for the standard bed, which the dogs love. It is definitely worth the money, very well made and comfortable.

Our dog "Barney" loves his Barney Bed, but with having a skin allergy he needs the cover washed more regularly than most - so having a second cover is so handy... Totally recommend having a 2nd one!

Hello. Thank you for allowing me to share my review. Molly Fae almost 18 enjoyed her bed for less than a month. She loved her bed and felt comfy. Unfortunately, Molly crossed the rainbow bridge on May 19th. We did not know what to expect when we took her. It was not pleasant and we should have kept her home. When you are confused and very emotional sometimes decisions at that moment are true and feel right. Good luck selling as the bed is awesome!
I have been considering a Barney Bed for my Border Collie x Cattle dog for a couple of years, but hesitant due to the significant investment. I decided at 8 years old, I wanted to ensure he had support and comfort as he aged. I am thrilled with the product, such good quality, comfortable yet supportive and best of all Rocky loves it!
I loved the way it puffed up after unrolling it with the memory foam doing its thing and it took the shape of her bed. She loves it! Great service and prompt delivery.

This bed cover looks fab and the dogs love it. It's a total pain to clean though; too large to fit in the washing machine (our bed is XL), ridiculous to try to move once it's wet, and takes multiple days to dry because of the combination thick inner liner and nubby outer. It will require a special trip to the big machine at the laundromat to wash in the future. Overall: looks great but we won't be getting another one.

This cover gives the bed a plush feel and look..it's thicker than I expected so should make it long lasting. It was relatively easy to put on the bed as you slip it over, no zips are used. Note that this cover is to be air dried, not put into a dryer. I recommend it.
As a dog mom, I'm always looking for the best for my pup and this is it. I can tell he's comfortable on it and I love that he can lay stretched out and still fit on the bed. My favorite part is that I can wash the slip covers so often without all the hassle.

This great bed arrived promptly and was soon claimed by my dog without any prompting. The only issue I had was that the memory foam was quite slow in rising on the bolsters. Two of them took 2-4 days, and the long ones took 7+ days, with one of them not fully rising. I reached out to Barney Bed, and they immediately arranged for a replacement long bolster to come. I find the quality of the bed very good, and the response from their support really first class. I also purchased a "Butter" cover which really lifts the already excellent look of the bed. My dog loves his bed, as I said, and, at the end of the day, is the best judgment of all.

My Mr Darcy is 7 years old and a particular beautiful boy about 31kg. We recently bought two identical beds, one each, as we recently got a Puppie who is Little Louie and 5 months and not fussy where he sleeps as long as it is Darcy’s. Of course he loves the bed. Most importantly for Mr Darcy, he curled up straight away and slept like he used to before the puppie, so a huge success. I would definitely recommend the purchase, my fussy boy is hard to please and this is a huge success.
When the bed arrived I was worried the sides were flat. Having a note to say they may take a week to rise would have been helpful and save time emailing Barney Bed for the reason. The bed it self holds its shape really well and is a firm make, but comfy and soft. I bought the extra linings and followed the instructions on fitting them. The instructions were not clear on what side is the memory foam for the base as I took it apart without noting before hand. I took a guess as the on line instructions do not show it clearly or explain if it's the discoloured side or not. Still don't know if I have it right. The other thing is that the sides look higher up in the photos on the Barney website than what they actually are. I like the bed because it won't go out of shape, but wish the sides were higher like the pics to give a deeper inner bed.

Just purchased a second Barney bed for our one year old puppy Asher. We bought one several years ago for our older boy and he loves it. Asher is anxious and struggles to settle. I had the idea that having a soft place to snuggle into would help her. I was so right. She loves lying in the bed with her chin resting on the side watching the world and then falling asleep. The bed is now her favourite place. Best dog bed ever!!

My dog did his normal burrowing and rolling around in his bed when I put this cover on (we’ve previously used the golden teddy cover since we got the bed) but I thought this one might be good as it’s getting rainier. The first time he did that a couple of the barnacle piece’s came off which had me concerned, especially for the price. However, since then it seems to be holding up well. It’s a bit of an effort to slip this cover on and off because I have the large bed, but it’s nice to not have to zip this one. Haven’t washed it yet so time will tell how it holds up but it looks beautiful and my dog seems to like it.
I am was excited for our Barney bed to arrive. Parts of the bolster never inflated so it looks funny. I kept waiting, hoping it would poof up but it didn’t. Otherwise, I love the blue shag topper and that it’s like a fitted sheet - easy to get off and on to wash.
It did take a few weeks for one of the side bolsters to inflate and my pup is now slowly getting used to it. She does like resting her head on the bolster. She isn't sleeping in it yet, but that may be in time. I like that it will be so much easier to care for than the old bed.
The bed is perfect for my 25 lb dog. She loves it. My only wish is that the cover it comes with was a bit cozier. I ended up covering with a cozy blanket so she would snuggle into it a bit more. I will probably purchase another cover at some point, but for the money, I feel like the cover is a bit generic.
There’s slim pickings when it comes to dog blankets. This one is pretty good, heavy and quality. Can become electrostatic sometimes because of the synthetic materials. Definitely size up. My pup has the large bed and I got the XL blanket.
My 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer loves THIS cover over the original one. I made the upgrade last year so when this became available, I placed it on my wishlist. Yes, my dog is very well taken care of because I want him to have the best life possible. The Barney Bed is far superior (I’ve bought several) in terms of the mattress and the cover.
LOVE this bed! Looks great in our home, our dog loves it and the quality is excellent. The cover washed beautifully. Our Portuguese Water Dog is 54lbs and 20" tall. He measured for a large by his toe to tail base measurement. He always sleeps with head on edge so the bed is plenty big for him. It works perfectly for visiting dogs to sit with our dog. Love it enough to order a medium for the bedroom.
As our Finnish Lapphund is nearly 14 we decided to adjust his bed to allow easier entry for him so bought the Athur-Itis Cover which has allowed for this adjustment - Well done Barney! I just wish there were some covers in a more breathable, cooling fabric like Linen for the double coated breeds. Thank you
My Great Dane loves her Barney Bed but spends more time in it now with the cover.
Memory foam has lost its memory and won’t form the sides properly because of the vacuum packing only one end has achieved the correct shape. Very poor for the money that it cost. Not happy with it and would not recommend it as good value.

Great customer service and well made bed
The pups love it, they are always taking turns on who gets to lay in it. We have two of the rectangle beds as well, but they prefer the curl over those it seems. I would have given it a 5 star, however, while it did expand for the most part there is still a section that has not quite gotten as full as other areas. While they guarantee that it will fully expand and will replace it if it hasn't after 10 days which its been a little over two weeks now, it still seems to be expanding if ever so slowly, and definitely not enough of an issue to jump through hoops to replace the upper ring. Definitely a favorite for the dogs though over the other bed.
