My dog Herbie absolutely adores his Barney Bed. We tossed up for a while as to what size to get him (between medium and large) and we ended up going for the medium, which is more than big enough. Herbie loves to rest his chin on things when he’s napping, so he loves the chin rest edge design, and he seems so much more comfortable in his Barney bed than in his old cheap beds. The covers could be better priced - with some covers being more expensive than the bed itself - but i still can’t fault them.

Wonderful quality bed for our lovely 15 year old dog. It provides support in all the right places and she always looks comfortable. We’ve had the bed for a few years and it looks like new. Also the extra linen covers are very hardy and fit perfectly. Highly recommend this product.

My chocolate Labrador loves his orthopaedic bed. He has elbow and hip displasia and I love seeing him curled up in it knowing it's a luxury Australian made bed that looks good, feels good and is good!!!

So I was initially a bit worried that it might not be big enough.I asked customer service through their website chat and they came back the next morning recommending the medium which we eventually decided on.Delivery was made within 3 working days. Inflation took 2-3 hours and we also put on the waterproof covers which went over each pillow/foam before the main cover. The whole process was pretty no-fuss.So it turned out that the bed was pretty roomy. Our dog could either curl up snuggly on the short end, or stretch out on the long end. The sides are elevated enough for her to rest her chin on, but tall enough for her to lean against.The overall build is pretty solid. The material and fabric are sturdy and good quality.

Amazing great quality my labs love their beds. Had previously brought cheap ones which did not last. Had these for a couple of years now and still look great

These beds are of a superior quality to any others I have purchased, after owning & fostering over 12 dogs my very first Barney Bed is still in mint condition! I've only had to replace 1 cover since purchasing the bed and an extra cover and only because it had worn a bit thin. The covers have lasted many years of use and washing. The local team provide exceptional customer service and helpful advice. Don't be fooled by inferior cheap copies, you get what you pay for!

My two labradors are absolutely obsessed with the barney bed. I was previously purching kmart beds as they are more affordable, but having to replace them every few months wasn't feasible and they became so smelly and dirty. The barney bed is so easy to clean, is very resistant to dirt and brushing their furr off is so easy! The investment is so worth it.

There are copies out there, but make no mistake, they are no where near the quality of these.My two puggles love their bed and despite often trying to chew holes in things have never even attempted to. I must admit I sometimes have a lie on it with them and I find it comfy too.

The quality of the Barney bed is amazing. It’s the only bed we’ve found that is not only big enough to comfortably fit our Great Dane, but maintains its shape and is super supportive for his big old bones. It’s easy to remove the covers & put the bed back together after washing. Customer service is also 5-star. We had an issue with a broken zipper on one of our covers & it was resolved, including having a replacement cover sent out, within a few days.

Love our Barney bed. Only type of bed we’ve had that the dogs don’t rip to pieces. They’re super comfy and are always on it. The fitted-sheet type covers are super handy to remove quickly as well.

Our SCWT Flynn loves both his Barney beds - its the only place he totally relaxes other than my bed. The design and wearabilty of the linen and boucle covers reflects the quality of the product - both beds look as good as when first purchased over 5 years ago. After months of debating whether to purchase a Barney Bed for our greyhound, we finally took the plunge and hit buy. Even though it’s a little pricey, one year on, we are not complaining. And neither is our houndie! The Barney Bed is comfort maximised. Our greyhound now prefers his Barney Bed to even snuggling on the couch with us mere humans. The Barney Bed is durable and machine washable. With its orthopaedic memory foam, it offers great support as our dog gets older. Post vet / hospital visits have resulted in accidents on the bed. Despite having no additional protective covers (just the normal Barney Bed cover) the bed remained dry with no seepage to the mattress and no remnant smells. A happy mistake with measurements meant that we purchased a size too big but our houndie has loved the extra space to really stretch out! Best investment we have made and 10/10 would definitely recommend.

My elderly border collie preferentially sleeps on his Barney bed over his other beds. He is head rests comfortably inside the borders of the bed and his legs can extend out so that he can assume a comfy position for his sleep. Not too soft and not too firm so that he can easily manoeuvre off it when awake

I got the Large Barney Bed and the original grey and boucle covers after getting sick of buying cheaper beds that either felt rough/canvas-y or looked “fluffy” but were really just plastic fibres that clumped over time. The look, quality, feel and durability is beyond any other bed product I’ve purchased previously, with the added bonus of looking gorgeous and timeless as part of our home interior. The bedding is also as structured as the first day I got it and has not sunk or warped in any way. Had a small issue with the looped threading in the Boucle cover separating at the bolster seam and the customer team swiftly processed a warranty replacement. I’m looking forward to purchasing more covers to expand upon what was already a great investment!

I've purchased many cheaper dog beds for years thinking i was saving money by doing so. The Barney bed has proven to be far better value. It doesn't lose shape or density despite size and weights of my dogs. My dogs are out in paddocks during the day so they are usually not very clean. Therefore I found it also a good idea to buy an extra Barney cover as well as it's an easy process to remove & wash & have back on the bed quickly.

Great Aussie product. Quality of the bed is outstanding and the dogs love it. They don’t lose shape and look smart enough to be in your lounge room. Our beds are now a couple of years old and they still look brand new. Very easy to clean. Dirt etc just wipes off with a damp cloth.

The Barney bed is great. Though on the expensive side, you won't need to replace it for a very long time. Ours still looks like new! The dogs love it, especially the raised sides.Communication is great as is delivery time and instructions on how to get it out of the box!

My dogs love this cover! It’s soft and thick. I was skeptical about the cost for an elastic cover but when it arrived I was really impressed by the quality. It is reversible and beautiful on both sides. It’s a perfect fit for the bed in all the corners and the elastic wraps all the way around the back so it doesn’t move around. I actually appreciate the elastic so it is much less drama to remove and wash.

I spent hours research what would be best for aging pooches and the Barney bed ticked all the boxes, and ticked mine because washing it and putting it back together was so easy! I got the next size up so I could fit on it with my babies, man it’s comfortable!

The design of the bed is perfect for my flat faced dogs to breathe easier as the sides are raised allowing a comfortable sleeping position and the memory foam mattress provides comfort particularly to my older dog who suffers from arthritis.

I bought an original Barney Bed for my ageing Brittany Spaniel who has arthritis . She absolutely loves her bed and gets great sleep because it’s so comfortable. Our English Bulldog loves to snuggle up with her and sneaks in to it when she’s not looking. We’ll be buying a second one!

I love the Barney bed so much I bought 3 of them! My dogs absolutely love their beds, they are cool in summer and they love the head rest as it provides better support and comfort. I always recommend these beds to anyone who has a dog because they have lasted better than any other bed I have bought. One of my beds are about 4 years old and it still looks like new, the easy unzip cover makes it simple to chuck in the wash and then reassemble.

We love that you can swap the covers and wash them as needed and the fact that it’s an Australian made product ticks our boxes. Incredible quality and beautiful cover designs that are also very practical.We bought two changeable covers (a cooling cover for summer and wool herringbone for winter) Well worth the investment! Memory foam keeps its shape and the sizing was perfect for our mini groodle

I purchased the XL Barney bed for my 4 dogs to all snuggle together on. There is a perfect amount of space for the 4 of them and they instantly took to the bed and got comfy as soon as I laid it down for them. The quality of the memory foam is great it doesn’t sink in or flatten at all, even with the 4 of them on it! You can just tell the quality of everything, the material, the zips and foam itself is very high and well worth the extra that you’re paying for compared to some beds and trust me I have tried them all over the years with my dogs!I also purchased the waterproof liner to go under the cover as I have a senior doggo who is sometimes a bit incontinent, they accidentally sent the wrong size but there customer service was amazing and they straight away sent the correct size without even needing proof at first (they did ask for a picture of the wrong sized cover but still sent the new cover before they even had my pictures) and were very apologetic, helpful and lovely!I could go on much more of how great the Barney bed is but all in all quality, comfort and customer service is definitely 5 star and worth it!

I have an XL Barney Bed for my two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We have the waterproof protectors, and 2 of the standard covers. My youngest RR is coming up to 2. That makes our bed nearly 2 also. The cover is in perfect condition. No tears, no zip issues. Colour has remained the same. It is in such good condition, I have not had to use cover #2 yet! The foam/mattress itself still holds the exact same shape as day 1. The Barney Bed feels exactly the same as a humans "Tempur" or similar memory foam product. Just as importantly - my girls love the bed. We do "doughnut" mode, "the splay", "stay away from me sister", "please sit on me 38kg sister, even though we have a lot of space." My elder girl has 8 + lung cancers now, and the bed provides so much support to holder her body how she needs/angles that work for her. Purchase was supported and simple. I am disabled, and greatly appreciate the patience given when aiding me in feeling confident of the correct size purchase. All around, Barney Bed is the winner if you can afford. It is not cheap, but that is genuinely due to quality. The knock offs are NOT the same. If they were, I would not be saving to hopefully get more Barney Bed accessories and a second bed! WOW! I purchased the Large Barney Bed and olive check cover recently and I’m so impressed. The quality of the bed and the cover is incredible!! The bed itself is so comfortable - my girl is a big fluffy groodle who loves to lay on the tiles so I love the fact that with the Barney she’s not sinking into the bed and there are “non-fluffy” cover options (which are usually too hot for dogs with thick coats). We all love a cuddle with our dogs but I normally have to come to her for affection, so I’ve joined her on the bed a few times and I can tell you that the other reviews are not lying.. it is SO comfortable.The quality of the cover spoke for itself on arrival. We have had our dog bed for over 4 years and it’s amazing! We bought a second smaller one to stop the dogs from all piling into the one bed! It’s exceptional quality and after 4 years of washing weekly it looks the same as the day we bought it which is insane!!! The colour is perfection and extra covers are so handy for wash day. No other product compares and the comfort level for our dogs is shown as they make the mad dash to be the first one in their Barney Bed! We purchased a Barney Bed over a year ago for our golden retriever and it’s perfect. Easy to clean, very comfortable (humans have been found lying in it occasionally…) and robust. Our dog loves the fact that he can rest his chin on his bed and watch the world go by from the comfort of his bed. We went for an XL as our retriever is a big dog and he loves the fact that he can either snuggle up in a corner of his bed or stretch himself. When we go away, the first thing he does when we return home is run into his Barney Bed

I have the large bed and an extra large with a basics cover. These beds are like no other dog bed I’ve bought; they hold weight without being able to feel the ground underneath. I have a 33kg greyhound who loves to stretch out and rest his head on the edging and recently a puppy ridgeback who loves to jump on to the XL bed and snuggle. I’m so happy with how easy these beds are to wash/clean, how well they’ve stayed intact and how supportive they are for the dogs.I will definitely be buying a third bed for when the puppy grows up and needs his own.

WOW! I purchased the Large Barney Bed and olive check cover recently and I’m so impressed. The quality of the bed and the cover is incredible!! The bed itself is so comfortable - my girl is a big fluffy groodle who loves to lay on the tiles so I love the fact that with the Barney she’s not sinking into the bed and there are “non-fluffy” cover options (which are usually too hot for dogs with thick coats). We all love a cuddle with our dogs but I normally have to come to her for affection, so I’ve joined her on the bed a few times and I can tell you that the other reviews are not lying.. it is SO comfortable.The quality of the cover spoke for itself on arrival. It’s super thick, double-lined - I can tell it will be durable for years to come.

This is hands down the most amazing dog bed. I’ve even fallen asleep on it myself with plenty of room to cuddle my beautiful St Bernard. She’s a rescue and an old girl and I wanted a bed that would provide the comfort and support needed for her large frame for the remainder of her life. It has definitely well exceeded my expectations. I quickly followed up with purchasing the mattress protector and barneycles fur seal towel cover. She absolutely loves it and when she’s not sleeping she rolls all over it. She is a prolific moulter but the hair doesn’t show up on the bed which is a huge bonus and super easy to clean with the furfy hair remover. I was unsure what size to buy however the customer service team sent me actual photos of a St Bernard on the different sized beds which was great to visualise. Bed arrived in a couple of days as well for an added bonus. Couldn’t recommend this product and company more highly.

I love the Barney bed so much I bought 3 of them! My dogs absolutely love their beds, they are cool in summer and they love the head rest as it provides better support and comfort. I always recommend these beds to anyone who has a dog because they have lasted better than any other bed I have bought. One of my beds are about 4 years old and it still looks like new, the easy unzip cover makes it simple to chuck in the wash and then reassemble.

Our Barney Bed arrived promptly and immediately our two dogs were straight into it. They do not like being separated so purchasing the large bed both could snuggle in together. They love the raised edges and rest their heads there all the time. The quality of the product is excellent and even though our dogs have destroyed many toys they are no match for the Barney Bed. Expensive but worth it! Our very elderly pug enjoyed the relief on his sore athritic limbs and now our very boisterous puppy crashes out on his Barney. Holds its shape over a long time (2+ years and in perfect condition) and the removable washable & waterproof covers have helped with training. So impressed we bought a second one

Googled the best Australian-owned orthopaedic bed for dogs and Barney Bed came up. After extensive research, we gave it a go and purchased an XXL Barney Bed and Sugarloaf Barycles Cover! My GSD and son love it so much, that I often catch them lying on the bed together. I may have test-run it before my fur baby hopped on when they arrived. Exceptional quality! This bed is honestly incredible! The best bed you could buy for your precious babies! I have a 50kg dog so I went with the XL size bed and it’s amazing, he can stretch out completely and there is enough room for me to get in and snuggle with him. I even spent a couple nights sleeping in the bed with him while I waited for my new mattress to arrive, when my old mattress got too uncomfortable and I slept amazingly 😂 definitely recommend everyone buys this bed
